Corum 28563020 wrist watches news:
I have a Germinal Voltaire wrist watch my grandfather gave to my younger brother that I want to get in wearable condition and return to my brother. The watch runs really well and keeps time to within +- 3 or 4 seconds a day; the main issue is the acrylic crystal is in need of replacement. Would any of you or any of the sponsors of the forum know of a reputable repair shop that can handle really old watches? I know the cost to repair it will most likely exceed the watches worth, however, it has a great deal of sentimental value to my brother. Thanks for any responses in advance.mikes watch.jpgMikes watch 2.jpg
I finally received my Christmas present today a SWI big watch box. As you can see my three Russian Divers fit with space left over. Now to find a place for the box.
There seems to be an influx of 5167 (which is great!)Post your pics. I just took what I thought was a cool picture.
Hi All, My final 4 has been a journey that I have shared to some extent. Current and very happy list is PP 5960, 5712, 5711, 5124. Yes blue is my colour...So what brings me to write is to put out the following - I am not asking to debate the merit of having both 5711 and 5712, I love both although preference is 5712, I have the opportunity to trade the 5711 for 5164 plus a bit, so wondering whether this will get more wear and round out the collection better, or whether 5711 remains the ultimate investment piece. Look forward to thoughts, warm wishes to all.
Here's a few of questions for all you Subzilla experts out there. Is the PAM00187 Chrono 1000 the ONLY stainless steel 47mm submersible... and if so, why hasn't Panerai made another?? It seems that all the 47mm Subzillas and Slytech Subs are all made of Titanium. Could it be a weight concern, since it is a large watch? Personally, I like the heavy case of my Chrono 1000... and strangely enough, I don't really feel the weight when I wear it. Why does the PAM00187 have an external screw down date changer versus the normal winding crown position? I like this unusual feature as it is... quite out of the norm. Does, or did Panerai ever make a stainless, or stainless/titanium bracelet (the older crown guard type model... not the current straight link design) for a 47mm case / 26mm lugs?? If Panerai doesn't... they should. Would you know of a GOOD aftermarket version? Thanks!!B i l l
