The Weight
Okay, guys, it's time for a mini-rant or just me being fickle again.In recent weeks, I've been wearing my heavier watches, particularly my Invicta Reserve Pro Diver and Seiko Sumo, and have found the weight annoying.Could be the advent of warmer weather, but I find myself breathing a sigh of relief when I swap out to a lighter watch or slip one of my slim dressy pieces on my wrist.So, as Seinfeld says, what's the deal with these chunks of steel? Why is a massive piece of metal dangling on your wrist a good thing? One company, Renato, even goes so far as to engrave the weight (I saw one WTFers watch at 162 grams) on the case.Slim and light is always better, at least for me. I prefer thin-soled Italian loafers and dress shoes to chunky wingtips.I can't weight for the winds of fashion to blow back towards lighter timepieces.

Recent trip to an AD
Stopped by Leeds and Sons while on vacation today in Palm Desert. Very nice people and great selection. Upon walking through the doors I noticed a nice lady purchasing a PP (couldn't tell what it was but most likely a gift) and she looked at me (noticed my 5167A) and said, He's a Patek Philippe guy too. That made me and the sales associate chuckle.The Patek section was small but had a few I wanted to try on. Just thought I'd share. The YG Calatrava was my fave followed by the RG 5712

Can't stop at one...it's becoming an addiction
Hi Fellow TRF PaneristisI bought a PAM 164 (Luminor marina) last year and thought that was the last watch I shall purchase for a while. But now I have been afflicted with the Paneristi addiction and have my eyes set on a Radiomir. Since I spent a good $ 7.7k on the PAM 164, I wanted to get a new Rad within a decent price limit. The one that was piquing my interest was a PAM 380. Plain, simple, nice black seal logo and at a relatively decent $ 4.5k. Only issue I see is the manual wind (56h power reserve) which I am still not too used to as all my other watches are automatics. Any thoughts on PAM 380 or any other Rads within a $ 5k price limit? I plan to be buying the Rad in the UK this summer, so any leads on any good dealers and discounts on new PAMs would be highly appreciated.

DayDate overhaul
This one needs a service methinks... Can't fix that stretch/worn bracelet, but we'll see how the polishing turns out. At least it can't get any worse
