Patek Philippe 5130R-001 wrist watches news:
Zenith watches is precious. Owned by LVMH who also controls Louis Vuitton and Tag Heuer, the phenomenal watch maker is a jewel of the luxury conglomerate. The combination of the El Primero movement history (contained in many Rolex watches) as well at the bold styling of the Zenith Defy Extreme make for a very strong true watch manufacture.Nataf has been highly successful revitalizing Zenith. Taking risks is something he used to. The Defy Extreme series of watches was very risky Zenith. An unusual design, and relatively expensive, they incorporate the modern trend of material mosaic watches. Each Defy Extreme watch has a combination of steel, titanium, kevlar, and carbon fiber. Some models have more element sandwiched in the mix. Zenith Defy watches are undoubtedly cool, perhaps too much for most individuals that cannot afford them. Truly a watch to lust after tantamount to love for an exotic sports car. Like many other watch brands, there was a time when Zenith's future was questionabl
There's something significantly wrong with my M serial SS GMTIIC guys. I reset on Mar 9, 2008. Since it's a new watch, I've been wearing it more than my others and also tracking accuracy (via time.gov and I track on a simple spreadsheet). I realized early on that if I wear it for more than 12 hrs/day and leave it dial up overnight, it runs just about dead on (overnight it loses the 1-2 sec gained on the wrist). I need some advice here. After this morning, it's running -5 sec...after 119 days. Note, that's not -5 per day, rather -5 per 119 days :) Should I send it in for service? Clearly this isn't normal...it's too accurate! Because of the holiday weekend, we've been at the beach every day and I've been wearing my Seamaster in lieu of the GMTIIC. Therefore, it's a bit slower than normal, having lost a whopping 3 seconds in the last few days because I haven't been wearing it. It was -2 on Jul 2nd...the last time I checked! So, what's a guy to do? Clearly this is abnormal performance...:
Anybody have an Omega Seamaster Apnea?I've always thought they were fascinating watches. Any opinions /pics from owners ?
Hello! I'm new here and have been looking for quite some time for a watch forum to join. I just purchased my 2nd Rolex. It's the SS/Platinum ladies Yatchmaster. I looked at quite a few watches at this AD and saw that none of their new watches had the green sticker on the back. They had to order my watch because they didn't have it in stock. I went to pick it up last night and noticed that it didn't have the green hologram sticker on the back either even though it was still packaged up (but I think the jeweler removed most of the protective plastic off of the band. I'm not sure how much plastic is on the typical Rolex but there were only a few small pieces that I had to take off at home). He also pulled off a clear piece of plastic off of the back of the case (where the green sticker would have been. He might have removed the green sticker when the watch came in and put this clear plastic back on until I arrived, I'm not sure?). I was just wondering why there wasn't a green sticker? Has
Greetings,Well, this update is as much for the group as it is for Kevin@Orbita. I was one of the initial "takers" of the special pricing for Orbita's new lithium powered Sparta.I turned it on, out of the box, and it runs every day. It's used pretty much exclusively with my Glash¨¹tte Original Sport Evolution. And, actually, the update is pretty simple: it works flawlessly. The GO runs at +1 sec/day whether it's on my wrist or on the winder. So...the winder is doing its job.-Ben
