Vacheron Constantin n/a wrist watches news:
Well I finally did it. I purchased my first Omega. I picked up a used Seamaster Pro and it arrived today. The watch was listed as "like new" condition and I'm tellin' ya' it could pass for new. It is absolutley beautiful. The electric blue dial really pops. It came with all the original packaging and the links that were removed. I had my jeweler put one link back in and I've been wearin' it ll day Can't seem to get this grin off my face either :DHere's a couple quick & dirty shots. You can tell I haven't picked up John's book on watch photographt Budman

OK AMIGOS, I LIKE A LOT THE HYSTORY THING OF THOSE GREAT WATCH BRANDS.LETS HEAR WATCH YOU KNOW OF THE FIRST WATCHES IS SOMETHING.HERE IS WHAT I KNOW.ROLEX: FIRST WRISTWATCHOMEGA: FIRST WATCH IN THE MOONTAG HEUER: first crown-winding mechanism for pocket watches, the first dashboard chronograph, FIRST PROFFESSIONAL GOLF WATCH, THE FIRST STOP WATCH IN SPACE.Breguet: first tourbillonhelp me out.
I know this subject has been beaten to death but I had some thoughts on it yesterday. These are just my opinions and discussion, criticism, as well as other opinions are welcome. It's been said that immitation is the highest form of flattery. That being said, in relation to watches, a timepiece that imitates another (ie.Invicta grand diver/ Rolex Submariner) to me is an homage. It's imitating the SUB but is not trying to pass as one. I see nothing wrong with this. Now a piece that imitates a another without its own sign(s) of individuality is trying to pass as the genuine article. This I have a problem with. I run into this in the automotive world as well as with watches. I'm sure you've all heard of classic cars being "numbers matching" That's a sign the automobile is genuine. There are alot of clones out there (fakes in the classic car world"). As with watches these are detrimental to the market. Any new or repetitive thoughts gentlemen and ladies?
I just bought this Transocean Chronograph new last July and already the plastic is coming unstuck from the case. Should I be concerned?
