Zenith 03.1125.682/21.C490 wrist watches news:
SST Time.....
My Deep Blue DayNight T25 arrived yesterday. I have owned Deep Blue watches before; however, I found them to be too big and heavy.especially on the OEM bracelet. The model I got has a 43mm SS case which is only 12mm thick. It has 22mm lugs and ships with a nice rubber strap. I have now mounted mine on a black/ pvd hardware ZULU that was in my strap drawer. These watches are Deal of the Week watches at Deep Blue and well worth the price. This Deep Blue will be a nice Saturday watch. Cheers, Bill P.
Here are some quick shots of the "family" with a breif story behind each one, the Carrere is the one that started it all as I mentioned in a earlier post, I looked at it online for about a year while trying to convince my wife why it was acceptable to spend that kind of money on a watch. Until then I only had the Swiss Army (seen below) and Guess Microsteel (also below) which were both gifts, and both under $100 each. So now I have been dropping Sea Dweller hints for about a year so wish me luck. Then I bought the Aquaracer as a daily driver, probrally my favorite to wear, it gets the most wrist time. Then the Invicta, I like the look of the TT Sub so I couldn't resist trying out the style, I really do like this watch, can't decide on the "someday" between the TT Sub or the Dweller.Wenger Swiss Army, gift from my father about 6 Christmas' ago, quartz, runs like a top, very accurate, what else can you say, great watch, but now it feels vary small when I wear it.Guess Microsteel, quartz,
Firstly, here's the picture:Picture credit: Alpha-Watch.I'll probably order this one sometime next month. Just need to save up my rice-and-beans money - I'm poor, so this is going to require some saving up. It's a nice tribute to the pre-Daytona Rolex chronos, but the manual-wind movement, clear caseback, and lack of a third subdial at the six o'clock position puts it in acceptable territory in my book. I'll also put it on a black lizardskin band, and that will add to the costs (and time for installation). Pics will come when the watch comes in and the new band has been installed.
