Love the maxi-dial
In my opinion, I wouldn't worry about a few extra hundred bucks.Get the one you like the best.I recently bought a Sea-Dweller. If I had known about how easy (?) it was to put in a black bezel on the LV, the maxi-dial on that watch might very well have tipped the scales in that direction.However, at the time, the green bezel was the deal-breaker for me. (The green looks good, but I just preferred black.)So, of the choices you've listed, I'd get the LV with black bezel; just make sure you keep the green bezel in a safe place in case you want to sell the watch down the road.Actually, on a related matter - does anyone know how Rolex reacts to an LV that's sent in for service if the bezel has been changed to black? I know they can be rather picky about such things.In any case, you can't really go wrong with whatever you choose, as they are all great watches. Removing a strap with tubes? How?
I recently bought a new strap for my watch. It came with some spring bar tubes (spring bar goes through the tubes), I thought it was a cool feature and did not really think much of it. I put the strap on, but now I cant take the strap off because the tubes do not allow enough movement to get my spring bar remover through. Does anyone have any experience removing a strap with tubes? I feel like an idiot because I did not even think this would be a problem, but in retrospect makes perfect sense. Any help or information would help. Thanks in advance.

Service intervals
I just purchased an Omega 2225.80.00 from a coworker. He puchased the watch from a Las Vegas AD in 2008. I provided Omega the serial number and they emailed me back stating the watch was originally sold to an authorized dealer in 2007. The watch is running spot on and I read on Omega's web site that they recommend service at 4-5 years. I am just wondering if I should spend the additional 590.00 for a service at this point since it's working fine, or should I wait until I notice it is not running properly?
