Audemars Piguet Audemars Piguet 14920 wrist watches news:
2010 would have been Elvis’s 75th birthday, and to mark the occasion, Hamilton is producing two new versions of the Ventura, made famous by the King in his 1961 movie “Blue Hawaii”. One commemorative model is a quartz-powered replica of the original. My focus will be on the second piece: the cool XXL Edition. The styling has been updated with larger dimensions, a gunmetal PVD case, and a perforated dial that lets the automatic ETA 2824-2 movement see a bit of sunlight. The XXL’s smooth, angular case flows into the black rubber strap. The curved crystal is sapphire, and the watch is water resistant to 50 meters. A touch of red stretches between 12 and 3 and carries over to the tip of the seconds hand. Black and white dials are available. The Ventura XXL will only be produced for one year. If you’re looking for something a little different, it’s priced at $1145, and it will be in stores in October. I've been eying vintage Hamilton watches for the past 5 years and am now seriously considering a purchase, however I'm worried that the nature of my work will cause undue pressure to the watch (I do factory work and constantly move my hands). Can any one clarify if constant/excessive hand movement will negatively affect the watch's mechanics? Also, if a vintage watch isn't suitable for wear at work would a modern automatic be okay? I've I'm also interested in some modern watches but the vintage ones are much cooler.
Hi Omega experts. Out of the blue, I have an amazing incoming tomorrow! BNIB, factory sealed, Seamaster Planet Ocean. Reference #232.30.46.21.01.001This has the 8500 movement which I hear is on par with the Rolex 3135/3137 movement. I think Omega is using an even newer 9300 on the newest POs, and they may even be better, but anyway...This has the black face and bezel. I have read the comparisons to the sub, and I'm so pleased that it can be mentioned alongside that watch. I'm really looking forward to enjoying it, especially since I paid a very fair price from a trusted seller here on the forum. Here is the question. This watch is factory sealed. How many links should it come with? More importantly, how big a wrist from the factory will it fit? My wrist is 7.5 and I like to wear my watch loose. Does Omega provide 3 extra links or is this the AD? No micro adjustment or glidelock has me worried about sizing. This is one area where rolex really outshines the PO, but for 1/2 the price I thi
Hi, So I've recently acquired a Tudor Date+Day, and considering I don't have a history, I'd like to get it serviced, but I don't know by which independent. I've already reached out to Vanessa, but she said that she couldn't help me with the model. Can anyone recommend me an independent for a Tudor 94613 ?Thanks in advance !
As I read the forum I always see comments on Rolex bringing the Pepsi bezel GMT back but in SS, and how many people would buy it if that ever came to pass. Well sorry to let you all know, but Rolex will never make a SS BLRO due to the fact that once the watch was made in a PM, Rolex eliminates the thought of the watch in SS, they would look to close to the same watch. So if in fact Rolex is discontinuing the current WG BLRO, sorry to say but we¡¯ve seen the last of the Pepsi GMT.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
