Jacob & Co. AC-M7 - 2.00ct Set Bezel wrist watches news:
Audemars Piguet has released a new take on one of its most popular model, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. The latest iteration follows the release of the last QP wristwatch in 2012 with an upgraded and upsized movement, a slightly more complicated display, clearer dial, and larger case size. All details below. 1 OF 6 The Reference 26574.1220 comes in four different versions, two in stainless steel and two in rose gold with either a navy blue or silvered "Grande Tapisserie" dial. Due to the enlarged case size (now 41mm up from 39mm), the dial and its indications are more legible. Dial display includes: day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, and now the 52 weeks of the year displayed on an outer chapter ring via an third center-mounted hand. 2 OF 63 OF 6 4 OF 65 OF 6 The new automatic caliber 5134 movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, is slightly larger (to accommodate the new case) than the earlier caliber 2120
Che Guevara, F¨¦lix Rodr¨ªguez and the Rolex GMT•Havana, 1941 marks the birth of a boy called F¨¦lix Ismael Rodr¨ªguez. Born into a wealthy Cuban family that had ties with the president and dictator Fulgencio Batista, his life became at risk when political activist and law student Fidel Castro began a revolution with the help of friend Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara. Batista was closely supported by the United States government and was considered by Castro and his supporters to be an oppressor of the people, so they took power from him and exiled him from Cuba in 1959. The connection between the Rodr¨ªguez family and Batista made them a political target for the new communist regime, and, after F¨¦lix Rodr¨ªguez fled the country, they were executed.cheandfidel.jpgChe Guevara (left) and Fidel Castro (right) in their trademark uniformsOnce Rodr¨ªguez had reached the safety of the U.S., he started attending college and trained to be an engineer, but his political views and hatred of Castr

Dear respected fellow forum members I'm closing out my full time working career in May. Of course its only fitting I acquire a retirement piece. Doesn't have to be brand new as I plan to continue indulging myself horologically. Budget is around 8-10K. Trying to decide to get 2 nice pieces or one monster.Already leaning heavily towards a Zenith El Primero Your thoughts and ideas are welcome
I never had experience with aftermarket dials. I ended up purchasing a Rolex with an aftermarket mother of pearl dial which i personally actually liked. After receiving feedback from a few forums and noticing that the aftermarket dial actually slightly covered the date numbers through the date window, i decided to swap out the face with an authentic Rolex dial. I couldn't be happier with the outcome
