- Love the watch, except that the sapphires are much er than they appear on the picture at SaleReplica. Overall I am very pleased and I get lots of compliments on the modern styling.

Raymond Weil 7810-BSF-05207 wrist watches news:
Well, it's been a while now since the black co axial "Bond" SMP came out and apart from one or two exceptions I don't seem to find many posts from proud new ownersSure a bit of a brief flurry when it first came out but since....nothing much at all!I thinks it's a great looking watch and personally a nicer and more flexible watch than the blue. However that's personal preference I suppose.I just don't seem to be "feeling the love" on this one from the forums!Hardly any photos either? Is this just my innacurate perception? or is the black SMP a bit of a "white elephant" in WIS circles? Was this watch a "Miss" or a "Hit"?Cheers.WT.
Hi and thank you for your advice for my first mechanical watch. I now have a Bulova automatic with a 11AFAC 17J movement, and I use it every day :-) I also bought a non working version of the exact same watch because I would like to dive in and get my hands dirty reparing a mechanical watch.I have now opened it and taken out the movement without damaging anything, but I am not sure how to remove the weight (for the automatic Winding), or how to proceed. Can anybody give me some hints and tips for my next move for further dismanteling? I have attached a photo of both sides.Thank youS?ren
Hello All.This is my first post (with a question in it) here. I've enjoyed lurking, and seeing everyone's great collections. I've always wanted a Sub, but I'm far from affording one. I believe that luxury items should not be financed. You don't have to do much research on the Sub to see that certian variations have skyrocketed in value since their inception, and, that the older they get, the more they're worth. So my question is this: Which currently-produced and lower-priced (Non-Rolex) sport brands and models would you see as a similar investment as a Sub purchased way back when? My idea is to buy a few watches from new brands that have solid quality, and a very good chance at gaining great value over a long period of time-much like Rolex Subs/Dwellers did. Thanks in advance for your input.
Hello all,It's been a while since I've posted but I finally acquired an AP 15400.Love it!Btw, I noticed initials on the inside of the bracelet. I'm thinking they were from the previous owner. I like to think they are from the watchmaker that spent countless hours handcrafting my beauty. See pic. It kinda gives it a personalized, made-with-love & TLC feeling I don't get from Rolex. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!Cheers!
Never seen one of these before. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
