Well I've finally gotten round to shooting some pics. Excuse them since I shot them really quickly. I always wanted a standard military watch and this is as close as I'm going to get. It's got a Hack ETA 2804 hand wind movement, sapphire crystal, date, and bead blasted finish. I didn't want another SS bracelet so I ordered some Maratec ZULU bands. I will wear this watch on the OD Green version. Here's some shots with an American hero to us boys...Wrist ShotThis Olive Drab makes it look like Viet Nam era. OD Green is MY FAVORITE!Coast Guard Orange - International Rescue Orange
What do you guys think?I do intend to get it in stainless steel, however this was the only one available, and it is the same size.I initially was interested in the 15450 37mm, since I have pretty small wrists at around 6.25 wrists, maybe slightly smaller, but I just felt the 37mm was on the smaller side; I also love the blue dial so that was one more thing I couldn't get on the 15450.I personally think it pretty much wears like my 40mm Rolex GMT, which I am very comfortable with; I am just not sure if the Jumbo will sit well on my wrists when I remove the links.I am told that I can remove a max of 6 links. Should that be enough for my scrawny wrists?I appreciate your opinions, and any input. Thank you guys.
