Having owned and sold several subs and seadwellers, I had the exact same feeling when I tried on the Deepsea for the first time.Part of me regarded it as an old friend, yet another part of me regarded it as the new big brother with a strong history and the DNA of the most iconic sports watch of all time.I am not a big fan of that very large watch brand with the Italian name (P), which has helped drive the market to the larger watch sizes. New strap for the Tif
When I put on the Tiffany dress watch this morning, I noticed that the original strap was coming apart at the lugs; not surprising after a quarter-century of use (albeit occasional in my retirement years). My regular AD had exactly one 15mm black calf leather strap, so I got it. Also I got out the ultra-fine grit paper and Happich Simichrome polish and went over the little case to clear up a few tiny dings that accumulated over the years. Spiffed it up a bit, I think.
