It's almost October, and that means the Geneva auctions are just around the corner. Today we are happy to show you some of the highlights of Phillips' second Geneva auction, and boy are there some killers. First, you may remember that in Phillips' first sale this may, several records were set, including the most expensive steel watch and the most expensive Daytona. You can read about all that here to set the stage for the details of the highlights to come this November. We have a dream watch in a split-seconds steel chronograph from Patek, we have a Submariner actually worn in a James Bond movie, a first series Patek 2499, and some incredible Vacherons and Cartiers. Let's have a look. Patek Philippe Reference 1436 Split-Seconds Chronographs In Stainless Steel 1 OF 17 The 1436 is one of only two production split-second chronograph references made by Patek Philippe in the 20th century. Hi FolksYou may remember i was given a james bond casino royale limited edition a few months ago as a present.Well!. was in town today, and looked in the jewellers window and they had the new james bond one there, i was interested, but the one next to it i preferred!, so i went in, and they were most helpful, and i ended up buying the Chronograph, i think it is the james bond one also, although it isnt limited edition, they even knocked 200 pounds off the price, so i couldnt resist.Heres the link to the one it is until i post pics omegawatches/index.ph...001&no_cache=1I will add pictures in a minute!Matt
For a few weeks I've been helping my brother-in-law purchase a titanium Schumi and we finally received it last week. This past weekend I had the chance to actually see this piece in person and WOW. I've always been a fan of the photos I've seen online and in the different forums, but seeing it in the flesh was just amazing. Hands down the Schumi line is my favorite ROO ever. The details on this thing are just perfect... the hex screws, oversized chrono pushers, red date, razor hands, engravings on the plots, etc... just love everything about this watch, except the hefty price tag. My favorite one is the rose gold version followed by the titanium one. So sad this beauty is not mine!!!Here are some photos I took while I enjoyed the piece for a few minutes.
Hey everyone, im so proud of this, i just joined the AP club, and its amazing, it is an AP Diver and it feels great, looks flawless, and now i hope to get another one! Thanks to DavidSW for the watch! (Sorry for the crappy blackberry pic)
