Jean-Claude Biver Receives 2010 Entrepreneurship Gaia Award
On September 16, Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver received the “2010 Entrepreneurship” Gaia Award for “his career as a whole and his qualities as a visionary businessman and marketing genius”. The award ceremony was held at the La Chaux-de-Fonds International Watchmaking Museum, and the award was presented by Dr. Ludwig Oechslin, Chairman of the Jury and Curator of the Museum. About 300 people attended the event, including a number of personalities from the Swiss watchmaking industry. My new Campanola Grand Complication
Got it for Christmas. My wife found it one day browsing around. I took almost a year to pull the trigger on it.It's absolutely beautiful. I wear it everyday. I've dropped it on concrete (ouch) and not a scratch anywhere on it. Seems to be bullet proof. Anyone else got a Campanola? I've attached a photo. Hey all,I was presented an opportunity to buy the watch pictured below by a good friend of mine. A friend of his is selling it, along with the rest of his watch collection quick as he's going through a divorce and wants to sell them fast as he probably doesn't want his soon to be ex-wife getting any piece of them.Anyway, when I first saw a picture of it, I had thought it was a rubber clad (i'm still quite new to AP and have never owned one nor have I ever even had one in my hand. However, after seeing it in person, i realized that it was not a rubber clad due to it having a black dial with black sub dials. Naturally, it was the rubber bezel and rubber strap that initially made me think it was a rubber clad. My friend then mentioned that his friend had made a comment about the current owner having purchased it from a reputable Canadian grey market dealer (I did find some threads on TRF with quite a few people commenting on him being a standup seller) who replaced the original bezel (

Chances to see a GMT coke at Basel
The GMT coke was my first Rolex in 1992 and sadly sold it a year later. I would love to own again a new GMT coke SS on non polished oyster bracelet.I know its been lot of speculation around it since last year but any serious thought to see again the GMT coke at Basel on march 23td? What are the chances to make it happen?Maybe some Basel insiders will read my thread.. who knows ;)
