Breitling is writing a new chapter in the history of the Montbrillant chronograph by equipping it for the first time with Caliber 01, a movement developed and produced in the company workshops in La Chaux-de-Fonds. This is a limited series of 2,000 pieces in steel and 200 in 18K red gold. Look inside for wallpaper and pricing information. With a look inspired by the 1940s and 50s and featuring a circular slide rule bezel for pilots, the Montbrillant chronograph was named after the building on Montbrillant Street, in the heights of La Chaux-de-Fonds, which housed the Breitling workshops from 1892 to 1979. In these premises, the brand developed inventions and improvements that would significantly advance wrist chronograph movements, including the first independent pushpiece (1915), the second independent pushpiece (1934) and the first selfwinding chronograph (1969). This was also where Breitling produced its first onboard chronographs that contributed to its status as ¡°official supplier
Thought I'd say hi and recommend a place to my friends in (or near) London. If you happen to be near Knightsbridge, right opposite Harrods, hiding behind is a restaurant called 'Zuma'.Unfortunately I did not have my camera on me.Some of the things we had,Ise ebi: Lobster tempuraebu no sumibiyaki: Jumbo Tiger Prawn with Yuzu pepperWagyu no sumibiyaki: Wagyu fillet cooked medium - it was a slice of heaven! Miso fumi no foagla: foie gras marinated in miso....mmmm delicious! A little after 6pm it wasn't too full, but it started to get packed really quickly. The ambience was great, but started to get a little too loud closer to 19:30-20:00...Highly recommended :)All the best,Michael.
i popped in to my local watchsmith,,, He showed me his recently acquired sea dweller,,,,, a gorgeous piece that didnt look huge as i expected,,, his watch sat very nice on the wrist,,,,, slimmer case then other sea dwellers he told me,,,,,
Hi guys! I am new to the forum and have enjoyed learning from all the experts on here. I must say that this site has become somewhat of an obsession and I’m sure my productivity has suffered a bit since finding it. That said, I’m considering buying a Rolex and the two that I’m most interested in are the Sub and GMT Master II. I am particularly drawn to the blue/gold sub and the black/gold GMT. I have looked at both the old style and the new style (Ceramic) in each model. Obviously, my wallet would appreciate the older models more, but I’m torn on which way to go. I’ve also considered that if I went with the older model, I might even be able to do one of each for near what one in the Ceramic style would run. LOL! Just looking for opinions from members on which way to go with this. edited Cheers!
