Bell & Ross has announced two new dive watches that will be available in August. Both models have 44mm steel cases with decompression valves and 1000 meter water resistance, and both are powered by ETA 2892 movements. The differences lie in the finishes. Find pricing inside. The BR 02 Phantom has a black PVD case with a Clou de Paris dial, while the BR 02 Steel sports its natural finish and a carbon fiber dial.For divers, crucial timekeeping is assisted by single-direction toothed interior bezels graduated to 60 mn with a photoluminescent reference point. Okay, a few weeks ago I posted this thread:Decisions, decisions!I got a little sidetracked by a vintage piece, but the hunt is now recommencing. I stopped in one of my favorite ADs to have a look today. From the original thread the Longines are eliminated because they're just too big in real life for me. Very nice, but clumsy on my wrist. I have yet to try on the GO Sport Evo but at 42 mm I'm afraid that will be quickly eliminated also. The Bucherer Patravi is still a serious contender, and I will keep the Rolex Yachtmaster in the mix because it's such a classic. After trying on a few nice pieces like the Baume & Mercier Capeland Chronograph (wow! ....but just a touch too big) and an Omega SMP chronograph (another wow, and I'd track down the silver dialed 2589.30 if I felt comfortable with it but it wasn't perfect) I found two serious additions to the game:Chopard LUC Sport 2000Holy smokes! I am considering the 37mm RO Openworked 15466BC for my collection, as I find the fit perfect for my wrist. The only issue holding me back is the frosted finish on the WG case and bracelet. The 41mm model is out of the question.Has anyone heard if AP plans to introduce a non frosted version?

My Calatrava 5196R has been in the safe for about 355 days over the past year. I work in a very casual office & don't have much occasion to wear rose gold. I'm tempted to flip it for a Lange 1815 in white gold, that I know I'll wear several times a week & which also can do double duty as a dress watch.Does anyone care to argue for keeping the Patek?
