A Much Longer Re-Introduction (Long & Modem Killer)...
This is going to be a really long re-introduction with a some new content so that my friends from TZ won't pass out of sheer boredom...or so I hope LOL!I'm a postgraduate student pursuing a masters in Mechatronics in London, and one of my many hobbies is enjoying Rolex ownership currently of two fine pieces. I also have a healthy fountain-pen collection (which you've probably seen by now), and enjoy photography quite a bit!During my youngest years (and I'm not that old...heh) I had a TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtle) thing - my dad got me the entire set, including shredder, bebop and rock steady and one poor foot soldier.This culminated with a TMNT digital wristwatch that I really enjoyed. I also went though many Swatches, usually buying one every time we flew to Switzerland over the years.Then for the longest time I had a yellow G-shock with an EL backlight and rather loud alarm. The strap gave way so my Mom got me a black one, which was later replaced by a casio calculator watch..

As we draw nearer to college football season, and the release of pre-season polls, I kind of got to thinking. What would be the Top 25 companies in the watch collecting hobby?How would they break down into Tiers? For example, if Patek Phillipe, and Cartier, etc. were considered "Tier 1", what companies would make up the next several lower tiers?
