Breitling B1335611/B723-357A wrist watches news:
Lange’s Datograph movement holds a special place in the hearts of many enthusiasts. When introduced, an image of the movement graced computer monitors around the world. In 2004, Lange launched the Datograph’s little brother, the 1815 Chronograph, which uses the same movement, with some modifications, the largest of which is the absence of the big date. For 2010, the 1815 Chronograph gets an update. The dial takes on a more classic, perhaps slightly more dressy look. The four level construction carries over, but the pulsometric scale is replaced with a standard seconds track providing excellent legibility of stopped times to 1/5 of a second. The A. Lange & S?hne name moves from the outer ring above 12 to the more traditional position below 12. At 39.5mm, the case retains its classic size. I have just noticed what looks like a hairline scratch on the glass of my SMP 2254.50. The watch is not even one year old and I have been wearing it under "normal" conditions. The scratch itself is difficult to see (and hence impossible to photograph with my average camera and skills) but under strong light you can just make it out. However, it really bothers me that what should be scratchproof has picked up a minor scratch and I haven't even subjected the watch to any extremes. I'm not sure if Omega will see this as a problem or be interested in trying to correct it. Perhaps I'm being over-sensitive to something that should be accepted as normal wear and tear.Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any recommendations?
Got myself the new casio Edifice watch. A friend in the US is also interested in one.. any idea if and when it will be available? Cant seem to find it on amazon.A quick unboxing youtube video of this great looking watch.
I have been kicking around the idea of purchasing a Grovana or Steinhart or now a Debaufre (which I understand is meant as the US version) and these are 300 meters water resistant, which is excellent. But I just today came across the Charles Hubert brand, which is also a Rolex hommage. Now I see they claim only 30 meters of water resistance, which is a long way from Debaufre at 300 meters, but I wonder if the watches are OK otherwise?
