Strap versus band
I'm realitively new to collecting Hamilton vintage watches. I've noticed that most if not all of the photos of Hamiltons posted in this forum contain leather or similar straps instead of metal bands.I prefer the leather straps because they're more comfortable on my wrist. I most cases, they enhance the watch itself. But some of the orginal Hamiltons came with a metal band.I just purchased a Hamilton "Russell" Ca 1957 that comes with the original Metal band. I have not received it yet, but in the photos, the band seems to compliment the dial and case designDoes anyone have photos they could share of vintage Hamltons with metal bands that they've keep on the watch (or replaced) because they think the band compliments the dial/case?thanksMark

15300 vs Dual time
I tried on both the 15400 and 15450 RO today and the 41mm seemed too big and the 37mm too small. Considering trying to source a 39mm 15300. Curious to see what thoughts are on 15300 blue vs. Dual Time blue. Assuming ballpark they are in same range price wise what do people prefer and what would hold value better? I know the dual time is a little thicker and I may prefer the simplicity of the 15300. Thoughts?
