My new sapphire sandwich
Drum roll please.......16 months old - barely and I mean barely a mark on it - inner and outer boxes - pictogram and warranty card - manual.Here's the kicker. The seller tossed in a new/unused 1171 bracelet with end links, a brown ostrich strap with quick bars, a Hirsch all weather strap, and a Maratac NATO strap. The price you ask? How does $1825 sound. Unless I discover something wrong with the movement I couldn't be happier. The chrono seconds hand does have just a wee bit of creep in it, maybe 1/4sec, just maybe. The sellers pictures made it look FAR FAR worse than it actually is. I expected to have to take it in for a complete polish or work on it myself. There's those days every now and then, when you have something in order and the wait simply gets from pleasant smooth "it gets here when it gets here" into "drooling at my mail box waiting for the delivery man and I know it doesn't get here this week, or this month.."Well I've had couple of those days after I've received more info on this beauty. It's Orange Watch Companies MilSub-9411 which I ordered before I even saw that mock-up picture (it has wrong case). It's a nice sounding piece and as I own OWC products already (two actually) I know what to expect. I have their MilSub-5517 (ISO [in spirit of] Rolex MilSub-5517) which is superb piece of metal (reviews all around, just google or PM). And based on that watch I placed in a order of this MilSub-9411 (ISO of Tudor MilSub-9411) which has SeaGull ST18 movement (ETA 2892-2 clone of very good quality, comparable with ETA one) and with options of Soprod A-10 movement (which I ordered, it wipes the floor with the ETA 2892A2 which it's bas

I'm really trying...
...but having no luck at finding my Omega Constellation! As much as I search, something always turns out fishy with most of the vintage Constellations I see. For example, I came across a nice cross-hair dialed pie pan in really great shape. The case edges were crisp, the faceted lugs were sharp, the dial & hands were fantastic...but then the seller sends me the serial number of the movement and there's no way it is original to the watch. The cross hair dials were only made to a certain year, and this movement is from several years later. I also saw a fantastic Constellation with a mint dome dial and an awesome 18K Ω logo brick bracelet. Wonderful hooded lugs, everything is great - except the logo on the back. The stars above the observatory are polished off. I found a nice gold capped version on eBay a few days ago too - and got outbid at the last second. However, I have found one more very nice 14K piece, and everything is correct except the price! The seller is
