Couple nw arrivals (Jazzmaster and G Shock content)
I picked up this Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic this week, as well as a G Shock on a whim. I know I know, they make a lovely pair.The Jazzmaster is really a beautiful watch in the flesh I must say. I was worried it would be a tad small for me but it wears just perfectly. It is very comfortable on the wrist and is quite easy to read so this is a watch to wear all day and into the evening. This is my first main stream watch (well, along with the Casio now as well) and I am very happy with it. Alright along to a few pics...and the always beautiful G

Funny experience (well at least to me)
I have this Ana-Digi watch, I always liked it. Inexpensive little bugger.I'm taking a trip out of the USA and thought it would be nice to take alongso I could do 2 timezones. I don't wear it much, so I fished it out of the drawer and yup, Dead Battery. So I get the battery out, get a new one ($4.25) in and only the Digi is working, Huh? So I'm thinkin "Is there another buried inside? yes there was, hidden deep inside. Back to Walgreens and get another ($4.25) now it's working properly.So what's the problem or Irony in all this? Well the watch cost me $8.97 originally at Walmart.I spent $8.50 on the batteries and another hour messing around and back and forth to Walgreens 2 times.It would have been easier to go look for another cheapo new one at Walmart.This is the watch,

Question on Omega Speedmaster Day Date
I've been wanting to get a chronograph for a while and I recently saw a blue faced Speedmaster Day Date. For any of you who know, does the 24 hour dial at 9:00 act as part of the timer or can it be independently set, for example as a second time zone?Also does anyone have a resource that gives more details about the Speedmasters? Thanks in advance.

SubC 114060 Getting a lot of Compliments
I'm new to watches. I own two watches and one of them is a g-shock for working out and handywork around the house. I had a big year, both personally and professionally, and wanted to reward myself. Thanks to a lot of research and lurking on this fantastic forum I decided on a SubC 114060 that I purchased from a trusted seller back in August 2017. I love my SubC. It's incredibly well made and could be my only big boy watch for the rest of my life (who am I kidding )Since I purchased the watch I have received about 6 compliments on it from friends and work colleagues. One colleague said it's the most tasteful Rolex they had seen and that he was in the market for a Rolex. Another said nice watch, those go with anything.Another friend just said damn nice watch!. And it goes on...So all good responses and no outward jealousy, but it still makes me blush a little, and I'd be lying if it didn't make me slightly uncomfortable for others to comment on my watch.
