Cartier Cartier 15035 wrist watches news:
Ironically enough I was just thinking about BLU, and what ever happened to it? The cool high-end brand did some neat stuff with dials, but I haven't heard anything about them in at least a year or two. Well now I know. BLU's Bernhard Lederer is (BLU = Bernhard Lederer Universe) is on to other projects, and this is it - The Gagarin Tourbillon. To remind you, I last wrote about BLU here (about two years ago). Anyhow, on to The Gagarin Tourbillon. Yes, this watch is an homage to Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space. He was blasted into orbit via the Russian Vostok-1 rocket (Vostok is also the name of a watch brand but little coincidence!), and then orbited around a bit before coming back down. The Gagarin Tourbillon tries to memorialize this with a tourbillon that acts as a satellite around the dial of the watch. It travels over city names and places like the original satellite did. The tourbillon is a one minute tourbillon, and it revolves around the dial once each 108 minutes. Why 108 mi
Hi allFirst time poster - please be nice!I have had my 1960s seamaster for a few years and want to change my leather strap for beads of rice. I took it into Brisbane Vintage Watches and after playing with it for a bit, the lady told me that my watch wasn't designed for a metal bracelet and therefore I couldn't get a bracelet that fit! Is that true? How do I work out what BoR and end piece will fit? THANKS!!!
Hi everyone, I am another newbie to the Longines Forum (Omega and Smiths watches make up my collection)a friend of mine has emailed me a picture of his late father's Longines wristwatch in the hope that I couldfind out more about it.Having trawled the web with no results I am hoping that someone on this forum may recognise this watch. My friend thinks it's from the 1940s, it has 14k on the back (don't know if that means solid gold or filled)He cannot get the back off so I have have no serial or case numbers. (sorry)I know it's not much to go on but any help will be very much appreciated.

Good morning everyone,Pardon interrupt. First I want to say thank you for your greetings on my first post.Last Saturday I visited an AD and have tried 3 Omega models, Aqua Terra, Semaster 300m and Planet Ocean 8500 42mm. The Planet caught my attention. If you won't mind, I would like to ask some questions regarding the Planet Ocean. Due to it's case thickness, do you find it an issue wearing it every day? Do you have any advice regarding the Planet Ocean?Thank you so much for all your help.My best,Alex
