The Omega watch is made in swiss or not ?
some people tell me that the Omega watch was made in other country not swiss ,but i don't think so .who can tell me ? if not made in swiss ,which country ?

Antique Waltham w/ crown at 12 o-clock
I went to an antique store today and found a Waltham.I didn't buy it but I'm interested in it. It looked to be in excellent shape overall, no band.The reason I was interested in it was the face looked like it was turned 90 degrees to the right, so the 12 was at the crown.It looked very close to this one, same lugs and sizeANTIQUE WALTHAM WRIST WATCH MOVEMENT AND CASE Except what I said above, and it had all the parts.It had a white dial, roman numerals and the hands looked to be from the 10-20'sThe seller wanted 75$ for it. I'm thinking of resell possibility, so is this a good price? I know it's hard to judge it w/o pictures.

Seiko 7s26 movement question
Good morning fellow watch talk forumers, I recently made a purchase of a seiko 5 with luminous dial, it runs well, the luminous dial is good, but what I would like to know is why this particular seiko 5 have a day wheel that is operated by pushing the crown? Inspecting the see thru back the markings on the rotor says 7s26a, does the 7s26 have this feature? All of my other 7s26s have quickset day/date function but is manipulated by turning the crown, not pushing it.Here is a photo of the watchOn the see thru case back it also has a marking saying that the watch is "water ressistant 10 bar", can this be trusted?Thanks in advance:)

A look inside your watch case...or how I spent my Saturday afternoon
A couple weeks ago I asked for some input concerning battery changes. As a result of your input I bought some tools and decided to give it a try. I had 5 watches that had stopped working, presumably due to dead batteries, and I had a very old screw in back Accutron to experiment with. First of all the Accutron was very interesting and I basically found that much like my old Canon F1 35mm film camera replacement batteries of the mercury cell variety are not readily available.On to the watches. If you have never seen an open caseback on a quartz watch you may be a bit surprised. I was.First up is the Golana Swiss Aero Pro model AE100-2. Where's the movement? Under that black plastic spacer.In this case the movement is an ETA 805.112 0-jewel quartz that requires a #377 battery. This movement leaves a lot of empty space in a modern size watch case.Next up was a Swiss Legend Throttle. This watch has the famous or infamous, depending on your point of view, ETA G10.211 quartz chronog
