Jaeger LeCoultre 7012120 wrist watches news:
The new Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillon is thin, really thin. In fact, this watch houses the thinnest movement with a flying tourbillon ever created – coming in at just 1.95mm. That's around the thickness of a nickel (think about that for a moment). The movement, with 249 components, was designed first around the tourbillon cage, which determined the final thickness (or thinness). It's a remarkable feat of engineering and design that no watch enthusiast can ignore.Every millimeter counts when designing a watch of this profound thinness. To save more space, the regulator assembly was removed, with timing adjustments now made directly on the balance wheel. The barrel is stabilized and guided by three ball bearings, a design solution that also allowed the hairspring to be doubled, resulting in an impressive power reserve of 55 hours for a watch of this size. 2 OF 2 The new Bulgari calibre is just 1.95mm thick. With all the compact engineering, Bulgari st
The 321 Lemania was first used by Omega in 1941. It was originally designed to be the best chronograph yet in a very compact 27mm size. It was used by many fine watch producers including Patek until recently. Its small size advantage was wasted in the moon watch, but its performance beat all that competed for performance and durability. I have proved this quality myself by buying for $40. at estate sale a gold cased Lemania marked Chronometer that looked good but not working. No evidence of any past service work. Fully wound for how many years? Noticed a jammed lever, carefully freed, 3 days later it was still running and all functions registering accurately on the fine scales. $368. to a fine local watchmaker after probably 60 years made it right.7 position adjusted is 5 running time only, 2 as chronograph. Omega made a couple limited specialschronometer rated with this mvnt. but most were not, and even fewer by Lemania.
Hey guys,Any of you own a Hi-Beat Seiko? How about some pictures of them here? :DIt'll be great to see some 36K or 42K bph Seikos although they are mostly vintage. Comeon let's see the El-Primero's equivalant. Thx.
All, This is my first post on TZ. I am extremely interested in purchasing the IWC Pilot Chrono with a bracelet, in addition to buying a leather strap found on the -01 model. The bracelet version I'm looking at is attached.I have a few authorized dealers in mind that I've been talking to but I'm not sure how much of a discount I can expect. The 3717-04 (bracelet) retails at $5800, while the individual strap costs $375 (I THINK). I have received a quote for approximately 10% off versus the grey market dealers of 25% off. Please PM me and provide any information on a good authorized dealer that ships tax free! THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE!
with my trusty Omega Constellation. 1966, 564 movement, C shape. It's been gaining a bit of late, so I thought I'd have a go at regulating it. After several tiddles and one or two twaddles, I think I've got it right. For the last four days, I've been timing it aginst the clock on the GMT website. It is still spot on to the second! Not bad for a 44 years old mechanical watch!
