- It's been more than a decade since I've worn a watch, and I couldn't have made a better choice! I'm so happy with it: lightweight, right size, simple and sleek. If you need a watch that looks clean on your wrist, you found it!

What Rolex should do:Re-design the Explorer as the ultimate tool watch for those of us who don't need polished center links and such. If I were in charge of the project, (I wish), here is what I would do:Build a new platform around a two watch line, GMT version and non GMT version.Use the 40mm Submariner case with perhaps a tegment process like used on Sinn for scratch resistanceWatreproof to 300MUse the old rotating GMT bezel for the GMT versionSmooth brushed bezel for the non GMT versionBlack Maxi Dial with the 6 and 9 in place just like the current Explorer, add a date complication with Cyclops, lots and lots of lume3135 movement in the non GMT with the new Paracrom spring3186 movement in the GMT versionAlso offer each model in a Thermo Compensated Oyster Quartz versionBrushed oyster bracelet with glide lock claspSell the watch in a kit with a rubber strap and tool to changeNot sure what Rolex has planned for the Explorer line, but I figured my two cents would at least get an intere
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum. First off sorry if this is in the wrong section.Anyways i bought a nice modern looking Pulsar watch from the local jewelers and i tried it on and thought it was a good size, after wearing it for a day i wasn't sure if it WAS the right size.It doesn't turn around on my wrist but it does move about an inch up and down my wrist and i can just about fit 2 fingers under it. Is it too loose? and if so should i make it tighter. Please help, and thank you in advance.
Hi, I'm new here and new with the watches but I'll figure it out quickly. Just got one of the wish list pieces I've been looking at, but this one is what I'm really dying for.Are these deep black models really shipping in October? Does anyone far more experienced have any new information about them? How long till some of the dealers on this board have them in stock? Thanks! Black with the gold, it's perfect. https://.omegawatches/watches...1563462201001/
My local AD held a Patek Philippe exhibition last week with some of the Directors from Patek UK attending as well as over a hundred watches!! There was everything from the Aquanauts and Calatravas to baguette bezels and right up to ¡ê250k tourbillons. Every 2012 release was also there. The only watches that didn't make an appearance were the minute repeaters and the Sky Moons.Never would I've expected to see so many all at once! Got to try on ALOT of them on too lol. My favourates were the 5270 perpetual, the 5960 chronos, 5130/1 World Time and 5980 chrono. The 5726 was really nice too but the 5711 was just over shadowed by the gorgeous 5980. I'm sure the 5711 would've looked quite nice on another day but sitting next to the chrono, it just didn't do much for me. I wasn't too fond of the 5164 Aquanaut Travel Time either. Has a rather busy dial and a fairly thicker case compared with the 5167. If I wanted the ultimate Aquanaut, I'd go for the 5167r.I've never really liked the chrono 5980'
Just picked up this from my AD. I have always wanted a GMT watch in my collection. SS Rolex are hard to come by but I am happy my AD come good on this. I have the option of getting the BLNR but choose this instead. I prefer it's more understated appearance and love that green GMT hand. Very Rolex. Will make a good pair with my DD40 YG. Haven't got time to do more proper shots so this is quick snapshot.
