AP or PP?
Hi,I flipped my Hulk (last rolex I had), as Rolex stopped singing to me, to fund another AP. I'm missing a blue dialed watch. Had my eyes set on the Navy ROO, Blue ROC and the new blue Diver. I already have the Panda ROO and the 41mm Openworked. Ruled out the blue ROC as it was too similar with the RO I have. Now for the ROO's, the Navy ROO can be had for $19K BNIB, which is a great price. The blue chrono diver, however, is $25K. Not sure if I can justify the difference here.I was all set, until that day I started to look around at Patek 5711. That watch is a beauty. Now it can be had for $28K BNIB.I understand the above are totally different watches, but all I want is a blue dial watch and I'm open to all 3 options. I'm a huge AP fan but I think maybe it's time to get a PP? What do fellow AP fans think?

By now I've read every opinion about this watch and heard all the griping about the 30m water resistance. This didn't concern me. Its the aesthetics and the size that drove my decision. That and a trusted seller offered it up full kit, AD purchase at 31% off retail...you do the math. I would not have walked into an AD store and paid the $7300 +tax they were asking.Yes I understand the whole History of Panerai and the legacy as a dive watch. And I understand how and why the Paneristi loyalists are upset by this watch. But they aren't the ones wearing it and because of them and the markets general negative opinion, I was able to buy this watch for hundreds less than a SubC.I have a Rolex SeaDweller 116600 so I don't need another dive watch. Frankly IMHO, the SD is one of the best pieces Rolex ever made.So back to the Pam 676. 1st Rolex Purchase Advice. (Update)
We'll what an eventful and fruitful day, travelled to our capital city of Cardiff in pursuit of my first choice a seadweller anniversary, if that was not going to be possible,which it became abundantly clear (5 year waiting list at Fraser Hart) then I was prepared to consider the DSSD black or my favourite out of the 2 the DSSD deep blue.After speaking with the dealer at Fraser Hart I enquired about waiting lists for the black and blue only to be told roughly 6 weeks which I was prepared to wait.I along with my good lady attended at Watches of Switzerland and was told a story that was very similar, during my conversation with the dealer Anita, her colleague informed her that a deep blue version was available for me to try, but it was to be purchased tomorrow by someone who had bought a DSSD black whilst the blue was on order, I tried the watch on, fell in love with it, put my name on their list and left the store content with what I was going to eventually purchase.My wife and I went t

Dear All,I just purchased a 116519LN during my trip in Germany at a prestigious AD one week ago.The oysterflex bracelet fit my wrist well and there is no need to change the bracelet during the purchase.To my utmost surprise, on close examination of the watch at home, I found that the screws and screw holes of the clasp have been scratched, likely by using incorrect sized screw driver.I can swear that I haven't touch the screws and screw holes at all, as there is no need to do so.I brought the watch to Rolex Service Center of Hong Kong and they suggested me to contact the AD for solution.What would you do if you were me?Thanks!Henry from Hong Kong
