Time zones .....
Interesting how each country comes up with their own time zone. I got interested because I looked at Japan stretching in geographic latitude having 1 time zone. Russia has 11, China for political reasons(purpose of unity after the civil war) is the largest with only 1 zone, U.S. is 9 due to territories stretching the pacific or 4 if you count continental U.S.. Arizona and Hawaii decide to skip daylight savings, and Antarctica can be in theory anytime you want it to be "what a mess!"

Finally getting Dad's Seiko Sportsmatic refurbished. Manual or instructions please
Dad left me his Seiko Sportsmatic 7625-8233 before he passed and it's being refurbished by Danny Candelaria in Phoenix.Newb question: While I know the watch is waterproof, I'm wondering how it's wound. Shake it a few times and go? Any details on the operation of the watch would be helpful, and much appreciated. I looked online but found repair manuals only.Thanks!
