IWC IWC 30215 wrist watches news:
I own a Portuguese 7 day automatic. I've noticed that as power reserve winds down, the watch surges forward as much as 1-2 minutes (!) compared with 6-7 days ago. Could anyone help to shed some light on this? Did anybody have similar experience with their own 5001? Thank you.
There's those days every now and then, when you have something in order and the wait simply gets from pleasant smooth "it gets here when it gets here" into "drooling at my mail box waiting for the delivery man and I know it doesn't get here this week, or this month.."Well I've had couple of those days after I've received more info on this beauty. It's Orange Watch Companies MilSub-9411 which I ordered before I even saw that mock-up picture (it has wrong case). It's a nice sounding piece and as I own OWC products already (two actually) I know what to expect. I have their MilSub-5517 (ISO [in spirit of] Rolex MilSub-5517) which is superb piece of metal (reviews all around, just google or PM). And based on that watch I placed in a order of this MilSub-9411 (ISO of Tudor MilSub-9411) which has SeaGull ST18 movement (ETA 2892-2 clone of very good quality, comparable with ETA one) and with options of Soprod A-10 movement (which I ordered, it wipes the floor with the ETA 2892A2 which it's bas
I'm thinking of putting a deployment clasp on one of my casual watches. However, the sizing has me a bit The strap at attachment measures at 19mm. Most the common deployment clasps are in even increments. 18 or 20mm. Suggestions on which size?
Hello All,Good afternoon. I have narrowed down my search to two omega's for my first luxury watch. This will be my everyday watch for business wear and causal. Please any suggestion/advice would be great. I have tried them both on...just having trouble making the decision.
The person responsible for the following site has documented the reproduction of a pre-moon Speedmaster with the 321 movement:kawai3.hp.infoseek.co.jp/eng-speedmaster.htmlI have skimmed this site several times, and it remains unclear to me how this person acquired the necessary parts and at what cost.Do I correctly understand that genuine parts still exist on the retail market and that a person could build or have built a pre-moon Speedmaster with a 321 movement?A new Speedmaster (meaning, NOT a Speedmaster Professional) has a lot of appeal.I wonder why Omega has not reissued this watch and passed on the added expense of this level of quality to the customer. After all, look what people pay for a Rolex Daytona.I'd much rather have a new Speedmaster with a 321 movement (and a reproduction case back with no first watch on the moon writing).Does a market exist for a real reproduction from Omega (faithful except for the tritium)? And, does the 321 movment really represent a higher level of q
