Rado R27955152 wrist watches news:
Hello does anyone know what model Ingenieur this is?Any advice would be appreciated
Hey all,I'm about to buy my first IWC (in fact, my first real watch), and I'm kind of torn between the Portuguese Automatic and the Portofino Vintage. I found photos online of exactly the two that I looked at this afternoon at the IWC store in Beverly Hills (see attached). Can anyone offer any advice about these two watches? I'm an attorney, so looking for something to wear with suits, but also to wear on weekends or daily with jeans, etc. Love both designs, and get that the Portofino is a little more old school. If you've owned one or both, or just have any thoughts about them, I'd love to get some advice. They appear to be the same price essentially.Thanks!movadobaby_2136_496167041.jpg12661376776_2.jpg
Hello... another question for the forum. New AP owner here... the 44 ROO in rose gold. Who here wears their Royal Oak Offshore to the pool? When I'm at a nice resort pool like in Miami or Vegas I like wearing a nice watch. My new AP watch would look badass poolside. However last year I took my white Panerai Laminor Marina 1950 to a few resort pools. I noticed after these trips that the anti-reflective coating somehow got permanently etched by the pool chemicals or minerals. Looks like water stains if you look at a certain angle... not very noticeable but I know they're there. I will likely need to have to have the crystal replaced at some point. Anyone have experience with this and their AP and anti-reflective coating? I'm thinking I can just rinse the watch off with bottled water and wipe down after getting out of the water each time??

Hi,I am looking at buying a datejust watch for every day wear and wanted some advice on peoples experience of purchasing Rolex's.I have seen two models that i am keen on, the Datejust oyster 36, steel and gold with fluted bezel and black dial with a jubilee bracelet, model 116233.The other is model 16078, yellow gold, Datejust 36 with black dial, this one is vintage, 33 years old from a reputable online watch seller with no box or papers.Firstly, is buying with no box and papers a big issue? Also i want to buy something i like but also with the view that it wont lose value and is there anything i should be looking out for when purchasing new vs vintage. Thanks
