Hi all,I know I am a relatively new SEIKO owner, after bought my first today. But I am already looking for my next target. I believe that most of you-if not all of you- are constantly looking for a new addition to your treasured collections. So I am making this thread so we can all share about our passions, our targets, even our greed :D.Tell me and everyone about your wish list.Start with me then :1. SEIKO Spirit SCVS003 (Black Dial)2. ORIENT Men's Multi-Eyes Black Automatic Watch #CET05001B3. ORIENT Men's Wide-Calendar Black Automatic Watch #CEV09002BI know most watches of my wish list are relatively "serious-looking" watches. It is because i am working in a place where formal appearance is a must (Hint : Banks), so I have to look for watches that can be stylish as well as formal at the same time. The SEIKO Spirit is a perfect choice in my opinion, although it costs quite a fortune for a junior staff like me (I am the youngest in my office), so I have to save like crazy.Other thing is,
I notice that on stainless steel watches the case of the watch is unfinished (buffed and polished) where the stainless steel bracelet attaches. I removed the bracelet in order to attach a leather band and notice that the case shows the tool marks, etc. where the bracelet was. I've seen this on expensive ($600 and up) watches and less expensive watches. It can't cost that much more to buff and polish the case totally. Anyone have any insight on this? Thanks. Bill.
Hi everyone, I was curious if there are any 15400 or 15300 owners in the San Francisco Bay area who have their watches sized to about a 6.5 wrist. I'm debating between the two models and it's tricky to gage exactly how they will sit on my wrist once properly sized. I'd be Wilson to buy you a coffee or whatever you'd like :)Here's my thread on the sizing concerns I have - .rolexforums/showthread.php?t=494704Thanks!
To the knowledgeable PP lovers-I'm purchasing my first Patek and have a question. Is there a difference in purchasing a double sealed piece versus one that is already opened and available for trying on? Is there potential for a discount on a piece in the showcase versus a sealed safe queen? To clarify I'm buying from a PP AD. Thanks in advance.
