Well, I got a kick in the gut today.My jeweler, who’s an excellent watchmaker and my “Gal Friday” for anything I need done that’s jewelry related, is drastically cutting back her shop hours, and will finally close her shop early next year. Julie’s been diagnosed with cancer.Over the last two years, she and her significant other have become good friends to my wife and me.Jules seems pretty matter-of-fact about the whole thing, but I can tell she’s scared. I’m scared for her. I just wish there was more I could do for her than be scared.She’s going to continue to work from her home-based shop, but there’s about a 50% chance of her losing her right arm from the elbow down. I just stumbled across this video. I can't believe I did see it when it was released 4 months ago! I even looked for this type of content. So last year I saw a video with the CEO reference a new in-house chrono. I've been told it would be in the ROO. Here the CEO references it again and also references two up coming directions for the RO. This new chrono movement will be in those. Question about straps
Hey Guys,need your advice on straps. I went to the AD this weekend and they finally got back to me regarding straps. I want to order the singapore F1 strap, however the lady at the AD told me that it's for the deployant buckle. I told her I wanted a tang buckle instead. Are the straps for AP interchangeable like that? I'm ordering the short version if that matters. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
