Took the PLUNGE
I too have now joined the ranks of SMP owners. I just purchased the 2252.50. I choose it because the 2254.50 looked HUGE on my wrist. I'm expecting delivery any day. My jeweler told me that between the time I was quoted a price and the time the watch was ordered there was a price increase. The wouldn't tell how much it increased and did not pass the increase on to me. Does any know how much the Omega increase was? Also I read where the 2008 version of said watch may have upgraded works. I can I check the movement that is in my watch?

I love this watch and want to add one to my collection. Only issue is the bracelet is not my cup of tea. Looks like the only options are the Rubber or Leather, Croc with buckle or clasp.Is there any other options available for a solid end link bracelet that would look well more substantial? As it is I am leaning to a brown leather strap.The vintage B is such a fine touch

I'm looking toward getting a patek chronograph but I can't find 5170 in stock in AD around here... All I have tried is 5070p and it looks ridiculous on my minuscule wristso please, if anyone have a pic of 5170 side by side either of the following watches (for reference): pp 5712, 5146, Rolex Daytona, GMT IIcplease post some :) Thanks!

5960R Power Reserve indicator problem?
I just got a 5960R and I noticed the Power Reserved indicator may be broken. As you can see, it is pointing at 5.25. See this pic: I assume when the power reserve indicator should not go outside of the + and - range (10 and 2 o'clock), am I correct?I look into the manual and searched around the internet and could not find a conclusive answer.Please help!
