Am looking to get a new watch as a wedding gift from the soon-to-be wife, with some of the money coming from selling an old Baume & Mercier that was left by my grandfather. Was looking at B&M Classima and like this one a lot:Probably get a black band as well to use it for the wedding. Retail is around 1500.However, in searching these and other forums, I came across the Hamilton, which looks remarkably similar:Is the craftmanship/mechanics difference between the two worth the extra $1000 or so for the B&M? I think they look remarkably similar. I assume they both have an ETA action? I am also considering getting a Stowa as a second watch (yesI like simple white dials) - is that also an ETA action? Thanks
Dive watches are made for under the sea as far as I'm concerned...All my dive watches have to be able to come with me in the silent world. This graduation gift will see a LOT of bottom time I tell you..in this last 2 years it's performed admirably...Sorry for the murky pictures but visibility was bad .A few photos of my last dive last weekend ...well whats the time...Guess its time to go buddy ;)...Hope you enjoyed the pics ...
