Romain Jerome RJ.M.AU.IN.006.04 wrist watches news:
This is a hard one as Richemont has done a nice job with the brand since 1997. They have produced everything from near-exact replicas of vintage era PAMs as well as modern day marvels. I heavily favor the simple PAMs that hark back to the old days. The ones that immediately come to mind are the 21, 36, 127, 203, 217, 232, 249 and 341. Believe me, if I could have each of these I would, but I feel plenty thankful to have one.If I had to pick one though I would have to go with the 21...NOT the one I have . The 47mm rad case in platiunum, tobacco t-dial, gold hands and vintage Rolex movement are just amazing. It has incredible wrist presence. What say you? One of the above or one of the many other models to come out over the last 12 years?
Happy belated Valentine's Day! ok... it's very belated because I just downloaded the photo today
Guys,I've been looking at the Deep Black Planet Ocean's, particually the Blue version. I also looked at some Tag Heuer's namely the Tag Heuer 02T Tourbillon CAR5A8Y.FC6377, which is quite pricey but in the range of the Deep Black and the Tourbillon factor is very intriguing. I am also thinking about the non-Tourbillon Skeleton Dial Blue Heuer 01 Chronograph or the Black Ceramic version. However I ran across the Rolex GMT Master II BLNR and and very smitten with the design. I had a Sub No Date previously and sold it, because I was afraid to wear it when I first got into the hobby and prefered my Omega's. The BLNR wears drastically different than the Deep Black, but the Deep Black also wears smaller than I thought it would. I have the following watches right now:Omega Casino Royale Planet OceanOmega Quantum of Solace Planet OceanOmega Skyfall Planet OceanOmega Spectre Seamaster 300MOmega Dark Side of The Moon SpeedmasterAny thoughts or input is appreciated!
I've narrowed my search for my next Patek and I keep coming back to the 3940 perpetual calendar. Does anyone have this watch? If so, let me know your thoughts. Here is a link to a thoughtful write up from Jake's Patek World along with a picture I stole from his site. patekwatch.blogspot/searc...nce%203940?m=0
Looking around to add a PAM to my collection and came across a 320 that I thought is a pretty good all rounder. However, looking through all the discussion here and looking like 320 doesn't get much love or any 3 day GMT model for that matter. Is there any reason why? Or is there a better model that I should aim for?
