Romain Jerome RJ.M.CH.002.01 wrist watches news:
This unique watch came in several models for men and women and was in the catalog for about three years. The brainchild of Hamilton style head Jean-Pierre Hold, the wood dial had to be one six-thousandths of an inch which required special machinery to produce.Source: The Watch of the Future by Rene' Rondeau (4th ed)
I've long lusted after the SOH 46 LE. While I am confident my wrist can easily accommodate the size, I've often found myself questioning just how comfortable I would be wearing that size watch (most of my watches are ~41mm). The other thing is that I like the idea of having a watch that matches my favorite team's colors (NY Jets), and while the 46 does have a perfect British Racing Green bezel, the black dial is completely out of place for my vision. Yesterday, whilst cruising the 'bay, I came across someone selling a 42mm SOH. I had never heard of such a thing, so I went to the Breitling site and saw that they are indeed now offering the SOH in a 42mm flavor. To make things even better though, the green bezel version is not a limited edition AND you have a choice of dial, "volcano black" or "stratus silver". This will be my first Breitling. It's now just a question of when...
After a very good season, I awarded myself with a new AP! It's not new, but very nicely used, and I love it! It's an Royal Oak Annual Calendar. 25920ST. Perfect size too! I like the new beefier AP's, but these oldies but goodies aren't bad either!
Hi guys, I wanted to see if I could get your input. I wanted to know what would be a fair price for a Breitling blue croco strap (model 244P new, stock from 2001 according to Breitling) size 20-18.
To my TRF fam, and once Ap enablers not so long ago... Time to bring it to Patek First and foremost, you guy's are such BAD influences Ive tried recently the 5980, and LOVE IT! Just worried I won't wear it too much because of it's sheer prettiness and somehow I won't want to wear it casually and sporty? I know it's a sports watch, but it felt kind of delicate, not sure why! Also, I always loved the 5712, they are getting the last one in the company for me, with the blue/slate dial on bracelet to look at. Price is much more appealing to me, love the power reserve and moon phase, dial overall.. I think 51k is A LOT for a steel chrono, thoughts? Way overpriced? Last question, I guess i'll see for myself, the 5980 fit beautifully but I wouldn't want to go smaller... 5712 people say wears smaller? How much so? Which would you pick and why... Reliability? I've heard conflicting reviews of both movements... Mayor's is working with me here in FLA, 2 year factory warranty and 2 year their own w
