Ladies strap
Hey, I'm looking for abit of advice. I bought the mrs an old ladies watch from the watch fair today without a strap, I have cleaned it up and got it running and its come up nice. one problem is though is finding a strap. It has fixed lugs top and bottom and space for an 8mm strap. Any ideas? All he ones I have came across uses spring bars.Thanks

OCD and broken watches......
am I the only one here who can't stand to own a broken watch???? Other than a cheapie pocket watch, I don't own a single watch which doesn't run properly. It drives me insane to have a watch that's broken. When a watch stops running it's off to the repair shop for it. In the past year I've probably spent an equivelent of a new speedy on keeping the fleet running perfectly. Am I the only one??????

Thoughts on the Aqua Terra Good Planet?
I've never owned an Omega, but have been curious as it's quite a storied history, etc... So, I had to drop a watch off for service and stopped by the Omega dealer and tried on a few and can't stop thinking about the 43mm Good Planet GMT, white dial with red accents. Does anyone own this watch and if so, what are your thoughts?Also, I tried on the 41.5mm Aqau Terra Omega Master, blue dial and love that one too. Both look great on the bracelet, but I think the blue straps look great too. So, any thoughts or recommendations from any that might own one or both, or any insight at all on Omega would be helpful.Thanks!

Extremely faded serial nimber
If the serial number on an older (1995) Rolex day date 18239 is very faded but still legible should I be concerned?It is very faded but the reputable company I purchased it from read it and has it on all my paper work. I took it to a local ad and he said it was very faded or polished over, but he could read it and gave me an authentication and insurance AppraisalIf I ever send It to Rolex and it appears faded or polished but they can read it will they still service it? Thank you
