- This watch really is beautiful, isn't too , and feels great around my wrist. I much prefer this type of metal band to the link sort that never seem to fit right, even after you have links removed. I love this watch already!

Seiko SRP545 wrist watches news:
A few weeks ago we gave you an early look at the Monoposto, the first mechanical watch from Autodromo, a cool, well-conceived upstart based right here in NYC. Inspired by mid-century Italian grand prix cars, the Monoposto combines serious motoring heritage with very wearable style. Today we give you a hands-on look at this limited edition automatic. At 43mm, the Monoposto is starting to get up there in size, but it wears nicely. The tapered case sits nicely on the wrist and the thin, turned bezel makes the watch appear a millimeter or two smaller than it really is. The wire lugs might make changing straps a little fiddly, but they are pitched at just the right angle to keep the watch sitting nicely. Hey guys! This summer I intend to buy a vintage hamilton. I need your help in figuring out which models fall under what I am looking for. I am looking for a gold-filled manual wind (possibly auto) with center seconds preferable. Also, I want at least a few numbers/markers on the dial. As a hint, I am a fan of the new gold thin o matic hamilton made this year! Thank you for any help, it is really appreciated as I am a complete newbie to vintage. Ps, does anyone know a good place to find a 60s-70s military issued hamilton?
Guys,Just purchased this Triple Date. Tell me what you think.
The more I think I have it figured out the more I don't as I find the decision between the 5711/5712 almost impossible to make. From a strictly pre-owned perspective and condition/age being equal, and this would pretty much be your daily driver which one are you taking?
Seen some interviews w Thierry Stern on the tube ,i should say he is a very nice guy.confident but absolutely not arrogant also like his eye for details.Do you guys ever met him ?what was your impression?
