The Omega Speedmaster was introduced in 1957 as a racing chronograph. Through no action of Omega’s marketing department, the watch became a classic in its own time. Omega Speedmasters were discovered by professionals. Deployment claps question
Will the deployment clasp fit onto a strap that originally came with a tang buckle? Or do you have to get a strap that specifically caters for the deployment? Because I've noticed that the strap that holds the buckle is shorter than the one that goes on a clasp. I would appreciate the info. Thanks!
