A.Lange Sohne 401.031 wrist watches news:
Greetings, Friends! I just returned last night after having a great week in Florida....now, back to the cold of Colorado.Sarah and I spent New Years in Siesta Key (near Sarasota) and I found myself pleasantly surprised at her interest in photographing watches Here is proof! Maybe one day I will get her to sign up and begin posting as she is a very talented photographer!I also threw in some other shots....hope you enjoy them and thanks for looking!-AaronSiesta Key Oyster Bar awesome Happy Hour!Sunset...Time to head back!
My latest purchase and compared to my Rollies,, I am starting to really like the size and the feel of this on my wrist.Maybe so long to Rolex for a long while..DAnd I thought the GMT ll C was big compared to my Day Date.. check this out!!
Nickel is considered a "dangerous" substance in Britain - and the metal's content in wrist watch cases is regulated under a 2005 law.Nickel causes skin rash in some people.
I have in hand a new Diver with white dial, and immediately I noticed a couple things that just seem a little funny. Hoping to get some insight from the group.1. The second marker outer ring in the dial, which seems to be almost glued down over the grand tapisserie, looks to be kind of jagged and not really cut well or glued well or both. Some areas seem thinner than others and over all it's just lacking a nice round inner edge. It's noticble everywhere but in this photo check out the area between the 5 and 7 hour markers.2. The double 12 o'clock batons seem to be a little uneven. To me it either like the left one is lower than the right or its thinner than the right. Hard to tell but they just don't look even, the way for example my 15400 does.So questions:- am I being crazy or does it look like the dial is kind of messed up?- or am I seeing things right, but this is just how the Diver is?Thanks!
Lots of great stuff out of Basel, but there¡¯s lots of great stuff already in all of our collections! Let¡¯s not forget what we have on our wrist right now!
