Seiko SNN223 wrist watches news:
Late the other night I was on E-Bay bidding on some rather used Tag F1's but getting out bid. So over to check out some Seikos...Before I knew it I was the high bidder on a new Seiko SNK809K2. Nice looking watch for sure, reminds me of some Stowas, or Glash¨¹ttes. I'll probably end up swapping the strap for a leather one.Due to us building a new garage, and my increasing interest in higher end watches this isn't quite what I had intended...oh well, I should just give in huh? Also this will be my first auto!
After a 2 month wait, it finally arrived. I was so close to giving in and going for the red/brown one they had in stock. The deployant is simply amazing, truly one of, if not the best deployants on the market. The micro adjustment is a thing of beauty as it can be adjusted without the use of any tools. Well worth the hefty price tag. The SKyland looks superb with it fitted. Will post pics later this evening.A few quick picsDeployant feels very solid....The micro-adjustment
Hello guys,First of thanks for letting me join. It's great to be hereI just bought this Breitling at a good price but it was definitely an impulse buy. With the free strap I thought ok nice watch but maybe I should have bought a Navitimer World instead (In fact I didn't even wear it at all-only for taking pics). After investing in a custom strap my decision has done a 180. I absolutely love it now. Thanks to Jeanna at [non-sponsor link removed per rules] I don't feel like I had made an impulsive decision-she's a true craftsman that does top notch work. Premium quality leather-nice thick, gloss black and beefy bund strap. I find the Chrono Matic just a touch small and genteel but with this strap from Stonecreek it feels bigger and more masculine. Thanks again for letting me join.
I wound it up and set the time with my atomic watch.Checking it against the atomic watch again this morning, my 300 MC has gained 23 seconds! (.25 sec/day)I guess it's time to have it serviced. ;-)
Hi All,Does anybody want these catalogues I picked up in 2009 from an AD in Cairns, Australia? I am moving house and I can't keep everythin. It would be a shame for these to end up in the bin..... PM me your details and I will post off to you. (No charge).
