Invicta 15552 wrist watches news:
I have a 220 - with the "old" style bracelet.Has anyone compared the old to the new style bracelet yet - such as this one on the 299?If so, I'd love to know what you think to it!My initial impression is that it is a little "plain" compared to the old bracelet which echoes the device protecting the winding crown. All the best,Harry
Hi allLong time since I posted on here but I do enjoy reading John's reviews.Last year I approach Goldsmiths in the UK about purchasing a Panerai. My local store does not carry them but the Goldsmiths and the other companies in the group do. I gave them a few model numbers I was interested in and waited for them to get in touch. (any watch I have wanted previously my local store has got in for me too look at).I got a call from them saying they could not get any Panerai sent from another store and would have to visit a store with them in stock.Off I went to London, looked in the window of the Goldsmith branch there, but did not see the model I wanted so went inside to enquire. In short I was told that they get some watches every month, they cannot order a particular model and if a model came in that I was interested in they would not keep it for me or call me to say it was in store. It goes in the window and stays there until it is sold, which if it was a popular model, it would do.Does
cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_3595wt_1167Seemed like a good deal, and even has spots for items other than watches. I think I can make do with a case that holds 11, combined with my two winders. I really need to start asking opinions before purchasing instead of after, but I didn't think the quality of what is basically a box was as important as of the winders and watches!Shipping was a little high, but combined with the sale price it seemed acceptable.Sorry if there are typos in this, I was being lazy and didn't get my reading glasses to post this!
