Patek Philippe 3483 wrist watches news:
When RSC overhauls a watch, they polish the entire bracelet and watch case, resulting in a thinner case, each time this process is done. I was told by someone at RSC that after approximately five overhauls, six if it is stainless and not gold, the case becomes soo thin from polishing, that the pressure proof integrity is compromised and RSC will not warranty the watch as pressure proof. If this is true, and someone was looking to purchase a pre-owned watch, they might want to consider this, if they were going to use it in a wet environment. I guess if they didn't swim or dive with the watch, it wouldn't make a difference. I was told this by someone who answered the phone at RSC. She also said, after the watch has been overhauled this many times, they recommend replacing the watch with a new one. Do you think they are just trying to sell? I mean, after five overhauls, one every five years, the watch is twenty five years old, I guess it should be replace after that anyway, huh?
Hi to allI am new to this forum, and need some assistance on getting a part for my Stauer 1933 graves watch. I can fix this watch myself; however finding the part is the most difficult part of this process! Does anybody know where I can get parts for this particular watch? Stauer
Need strap suggestions for a Nomos Tangente ? Steel bezel, blue hands, 18mm, probably not thicker than 3 or 4mm...thanks in advance...
Well, it would only take me about 0.5 sec to tell you I don't want that on my watch face?
it¡¯s a little too large and heavy. Purchased BNIB, I¡¯ve only worn it twice. Thought I¡¯d love the size and all, but it¡¯s larger than I thought it would be and the added weight is noticeable. Am I crazy or what? I really think a SubC date is the right one for me. I¡¯ve tried one on before and I really think that would be a better fit. What do you guys think?
