Benrus Airman project
I have a fairly decent Benrus Airman case with a really rotten dial. I don't refinish dials very often, but this one really needs it. Since this is a bit of a "rare bear", I'd like to have it as nice as possible. My latest results from International were a bit disappointing and the only other company I've used is Kirk in Seattle (very good results, but I'm not sure they have any Benrus dies). I have been away for a while and thought i should jump on the Hamilton forum and post my first thread here I Know its not a watch, but a pocket watch though i do have a few old wrist Hammies in the safe First shot with its ORIS friend (and yes, you guys can all come post over at the ORIS forum too )Elgins on the top, Hamiltons on the bottom .......Some nice details ........Just love the red It takes guts And no, i dont know much about it at all ......but it is beautiful and needs a good cleaning.
