A Daytona visits the highest point in AZ and NM with no scratches or scrapes accrued.
Went to state highpoints #42 and #43 last week. Only 7 left to goThe Daytona made it to thehighest points in the states without getting scratched or messed up. Yeah! With all the scree (loose rock) on Boundary Peak, I'm grateful the few times I lost my balance and fell I protected the watch. Looking at getting my first manual wind Patek
I would like to buy a simple but classic Patek and I am leaning towards the 5196.The watch would be mainly for wearing in the evenings and at weekends, so having a date is not essential.I would be most grateful for your valued opinions on this or any other Patek, including a vintage piece that would fit this criteria.Thank you for any advise that you can provide.
