- I've owned a dozen of these watches for the past 20 years. Can't function without the ease of the one touch countdown timer. Love it! Hope Casio never drops this particular watch.

Seiko SPC106 wrist watches news:
For 2013, Martin Braun's watch brand Antoine Martin will release their third major timepiece collection with the Slow Runner. Martin explained the concept of the Slow Runner to me last year by telling me that he was producing a simple watch with a huge slowly moving balance wheel. He sure wasn't kidding. If you've ever seen the balance wheel of old clocks operating, you know that there is a sort of hypnotic quality to seeing them move back and forth at a one hertz speed. Martin has successfully produced that experience for a wrist watch.Antoine Martin likes to point out that the Slow Runner is a "true" one hertz operating movement. What does that mean? Another popular watch that is of a similar vein is the Dutch Gronefeld One Hertz watch. That watch indeed had a second hand moving at one hertz, but the escapement was faster. They used extra gearing to slow it down so that the seconds hand ticked. The Antoine Martin Slow Runner has an escapement assembly that actually does operate at on

I know the pic is awful, but it's all I have. This is a pic I took from my TV.I think it might be an Omega based on the case shape. Definitely a pilot.
Hey all! I have a couple things I thought I'd ask. I have looked around here some, but not finding exactly what I need. 1- Any good suggestions on a skeleton watch with good movement (better than Stuhrling)? Hoping to find something at or under $200. 2- My Stuhrling watch runs off time most days. Am I wasting my time sending it in to get fixed?3- Does anyone here have any info on a watch made by Orbita? I bought one of these watches many years ago directly from Orbita...VERY inexpensive. Just hoping to get more info on this watch. Thanks so much guys!
