Seiko SNDF09 wrist watches news:
Not all MOP is created equal. One company that will not be named (Invicta), touts it's MOP dials as Grade A, which depending on the rating system used by the manufacturer is excellent. There are two systems: The A to D system and the AAA to A system, which would make the A the other guy's D. I don't know which one that namesless company (Invicta) uses. The nameless company (Invicta) does create dials that snap and pop with plenty of orient. However, the MOP dials on my luxury watches, including Clerc, are far more refined and have more Orient. Truth even the MOP on my Jacques Lemans is a bit more dramatic than any offering I had from The Company That Shall Remain Nameless. This isn't a bash, merely a consumer's observation. Always remember knowledge is power when you are purchasing. Do your homework so you are not swayed by a claim that sounds great, is not a mis-representation but is sort of a slight of hand.I want to make it clear, I don't know what scale is being used by that Yellow Box
A few months ago I had sold my cousin a watch that he had is eye on, He had always liked it even though I did too but since he was a close family member I decided that he could have it. That being said he only works part time and was still in high school when I sold it to him, So I can understand that he does not work all the time. So today I was telling his mother my (aunt) that he owed me money for the watch. I did tell him to pay me back when he could but the thing is I was starting to wonder if he will ever pay me for the watch. I say that because he's always saying he has no money but always seem to have money when he goes out so you understand my anger. So to end this story short I told my aunt not for me not to forget to ask him for the money he owes me, But the thing is I now feel bad. So I'm I asking would you guy's feel bad if you were me.
If you love an Explorer I .... you just have to love this watch.
HiI am interested in buying a Radiomir. I usually prefer to buy mint used as there are some great bargains to be had but I could be persuaded to buy new if there was a distinct advantage. My question is should I buy a good condition Radiomir Black Seal 183 or one of the new references such as a 610 or 380?I prefer the more vintage vibe of the 183 and particularly the sandwich dial which is quite important for me. Yes the newer references have Panerai's in house movement but I really can't see anything wrong with the venerable ETA movements used in the 183 and other older references. Any advice greatly received. Thanks.
The LN is my only watch and worn every day, purchased new a few months ago. I like the watch and the GMT function but I sometimes feel the appearance is a little dull and too corporate. Now compared to the new pepsi, despite the ceramic colors more closely resembling fruit flavored candy rather than a traditional bezel, seems so much more exciting to me. If the choice was given to me I would definitely have chosen the pepsi despite its colors lacking the greatness of the pre-ceramic models. Maybe my real problem is that there is such a lack of variation in a collection of just one watch despite me being such a watch enthusiast?
