Girard-Perregaux Opens Flagship Boutique on Madison Avenue
Girard-Perregaux continues its expansion with the opening of its first American boutique at 701 Madison Avenue, the prestigious home to some of the world¡¯s finest luxury brands. The Leonori building, constructed in 1902 and designated a city landmark, houses Girard-Perregaux between 62nd and 63rd streets. All of the Brand¡¯s collections, including the Haute Horlogerie models and limited editions, are showcased in this elegant space. The boutique¡¯s interior architecture reflects the Brand’s commitment to fine craftsmanship, exquisite design, modern technology, and attention to detail. Italian architect Ermanno Previdi followed the design inspiration of the Brand¡¯s President, Luigi Macaluso and his son Stefano, Vice President and a trained architect. The new flagship boutique is the Brand’s eighth worldwide, after Gstaad, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Prague and Beirut. Ive posted this before but....
Well I'm posting it again.It stopped working on one day at work...well I just got some very small tools and craked it open (press-in case back) I took it out to the garage and lightly blew it out with my compressor, wound it and it started right up again. Unfortuneately I still don't have my camera so pics of the movement and wristshots are going to have to wait.I was however not surprized to see a company name I've never heard of on the inside of the caseback and on the movement itself. "Jura Watch Co. Swiss" "Swiss unadjusted one 1 jewel" Jewel is on the balance wheel. There is also a small symbol with what looks like an "EB" in it and the number 3800 under it. Either way, I like it, I'm glad it still works, the right band makes it wear big on me. It also has some sentimentle value (first watch Mom & Dad gave me as a child)Pics will follow when I get my camera back.

Finally joined the club. New 15400
Hi all,Thought I'd share a few pictures of my new AP 15400, my first ever AP.I've been saving for a while and wasn't quite sure which watch would be my next purchase until a recent visit to Vegas and an AP AD. I tried on a few different models including the 15202, the new ROC and then this 15400 white dial. The 15202 looked a little small on me and the ROC looked nice but didn't really speak to me the way the 15400 did. I didn't make a purchase then, but obsessed over this watch until I got home. I found one here on TRF that Takuya was selling (at quite a discount from the AD) and pulled the trigger. I could not be happier. Not only is this my first AP but my first white dialed watch. The dial on this thing is insane (in a good way) and the bracelet looks and feels awesome.I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story but, suffice it to say, I'm really happy to finally join the AP club!!
