Seiko SND699 wrist watches news:
I am still counting up the times Burberry uses the terms "heritage, tradition(al), craftsmanship, innovative," and other similar adjectives brands commonly use when describing their new creations. In fact, most of the Burberry Britain watch press release is actually just a list of adjectives. Even when they describe the timepiece itself they use mostly adjectives to describe it. Consider me impressed - this document ought to receive some type of award for its incredibly elegant lack of substance (however it does have a fully operational set of tech specs). Allow me to share with you a few select passages if I may:"The Britain marries our heritage and functional design values with modernity and innovation, creating a watch that is as elegant as it is relaxed.¡±"A celebration of the British inspirations behind the global brand,The Britain marries craftsmanship and heritage with modernity and innovation""It all comes from this iconic timeless piece of ourheritage which is the foundation of

Here is the "Dollfus" Perpetual Calendar, nicknamed after its original owner – sold at auction in 2011, and not seen in public since. Though it's well known in enthusiast circles both by name and reputation, we thought today – Leap Day – would be a great opportunity to look back at this historic watch - the first perpetual calendar wristwatch. When this particular watch was first sold, the price to the new owner, Mr. Jean Dollfus, was 11,000 Swiss Francs. It was a lot of money then, and today it would be considerably more, but even the inflation adjusted price pales in comparison to what it fetched at auction at Christie's, in 2011: $475,618. It's obviously an enormous sum of money, but the price becomes easier to understand, when you understand what the watch represents. 1 OF 4 It's quite simply one of the most important vintage wristwatches ever made by Breguet, and perhaps the single most important perpetual

Recently purchased a DateJust 41mm and I¡¯ve been pondering getting it engraved, however just like a lot of things not sure how I will feel about it in 5,10 or 20 years for that matter. Plus if I would sell or trade etc: would it be worth less. Any experience in having engraved then not being happy about it. I¡¯d like to but I¡¯m not completely sold on doing so.
