Swiss Watch Exports Decline Again, Reaching 2006 Level
The Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry has released Swiss watch export figures for September, 2009, and the downward trend continues. The value of Swiss watch exports fell by 26.1% to 1.1 billion francs. Overall exports are down 25.9% for the first 3 quarters of 2009. Swiss watch exports have now retreated to their 2006 level. Watches manufactured from precious metals suffered the steepest declines in value terms in September, while the downturn was less severe for bimetallic timepieces. The number of timepieces exported suffered particularly badly, falling by nearly a million units in one month. Steel and the category of other materials had a markedly negative effect on results. Since the beginning of the year, exports have registered a shortfall of 5.1 million watches.For wristwatches costing less than 200 francs (export price), the number of pieces exported fell by half in September, generating a deficit of 890,000 units. Triton strap/bracelet changs - how???
Picked up a Triton with both factory stainless bracelet and factory mustard strap. Strap is on, and I love it, but if I decide to change it, how is it accomplished? I don't want to just attack it with Allen wrenches. Is any thread lock used? How much torque? Any tricks or tips? Same questions about sizing. Thanks!

Requesting 5170j pics for sizing
I'm looking toward getting a patek chronograph but I can't find 5170 in stock in AD around here... All I have tried is 5070p and it looks ridiculous on my minuscule wristso please, if anyone have a pic of 5170 side by side either of the following watches (for reference): pp 5712, 5146, Rolex Daytona, GMT IIcplease post some :) Thanks!

Crazy little hobby of ours. I was paying for lunch today when I noticed an awesome vintage Pepsi GMT on Jubilee on the wrist of the person next to me. Told him sweet watch. He thanked me and said it was his grandfather's. How cool is that? Looking forward to passing my Sub on to my future child one day. Sorry for the bad pic! Just wanted to snap something quick as we were both taking our orders to go.Josh

Just got my second rolex!!!!!
After waiting 3 long years, I just purchased my second Rolex a few days ago. It's a pre-owned 16233 TT Datejust T series, silver dial, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. The watched was serviced by RSC in September of 2017 and carries a two year warranty, full set with original papers. I got a great deal on it from a local AD, and couldn't be happier!First time posting Pics, any suggestions will be helpful, thanks!
