Baselworld 2014 Preview: New Ladies’ and Men’s Mido Watches
Mido watches have only a cult following in the U.S. but are very popular elsewhere in the world, particularly Latin America. This week, the brand, known for offering Swiss-made mechanical watches at affordable prices, released previews of two new Mido watch models ¡ª one men’s, one ladies’ ¡ª debuting at next month’s Baselworld.For the ladies, Mido has released two new models of its Mido Commander Lady collection, which the brand has manufactured continuously since 1959. The Mido Commander Lady Sunray Satinated has a steel case with a rose-gold-colored PVD treatment and a silver dial with a sunray satinated pattern, while the Commander Lady Mother of Pearl has a stainless steel case and an iridescent white mother-of-pearl dial. Will AP release new 'racing' watches?
Hi all,The AP ROO 44 is my all time favourite watch. The ROO 42 is also a sweet piece. Over the years, we've seen limited edition racing style watches. The RB ( and II,III), various versions of the GP, same goes for the Schumi etc. Will we see more....and when? Or are they done and dusted?I realise this is all speculation- I for one would jump on a new release. Here's hoping....Cheers!

My new addition... a Petite Tapisserie
My first watch in 2013, and the ONE that will calm my itch for a long while...After looking at thousands of photos and handling many different versions of ROO, my heart always goes back to this 25721ST. Perhaps it is its status as the first ROO, or the mesmerizing blue dial, or the petite tapisserie pattern, or the applied AP logo, or the luminous stick markers, or the integrated bracelet... This classical piece extremely versatile and is the perfect ROO to me in every way. I'm really happy and contented to have added this one as my new beater.
