I love the look of this watch, the pictures online don't do it any justice. It has a brushed, nickle finish and is very sturdy. It can be worn with casual attire or dressy attire. Great price for the brand and even better quality.

Foundation Stone Ceremony for Jaquet Droz
On September 9, 2009, Nicolas G. Hayek, Chairman of the Swatch Group, Nick Hayek, CEO of the Swatch Group, and Manuel Emch, President of Montres Jaquet Droz, laid the foundation stone of the new Jaquet Droz Manufacture located in the small, green valley of Le Cr��t-du-Locle in the Neuchatel Mountains. The new building will be about 27,000 square feet in size, and the first employees will begin to arrive next summer. The inauguration is scheduled for October 10, 2010. This site will allow Jaquet Droz to regroup all of its activities under one roof, and the facility offers significant growth potential. The new Manufacture will serve as a showcase for the brand, eventually accommodating almost 100 employees.

Help me Identify this Watch???
Any help in advance is appreciated. I do not have a tool to open the case back unfortunately. This was my grandfathers watch and I think it��s a cool design. It is gold plated it seems. There aren��t many marks other then what��s pictured. My question is from about what year, and what model? Knocking sound coming from 16710 when setting the time.
Hi all, I recently purchased a 2006 D series 16710 full set, the watch looks to be in fantastic condition but I have one major problem.When I unscrew the crown and turn the crown clockwise to wind the watch or set the time you can hear a loud knocking noise as if the movement is loose, there is no knocking noise when moving the crown anti clockwise.With the knocking noise it does feel as tho the movement is rattling around slightly inside the watch.I contacted the seller and he assures me that it wasn't doing that when he sent it out, I trust this seller so I guess maybe something happened during postage.I have attached a short video, you may need to turn the volume up to hear the noise.Thank you all in advance.https://cloud.tapatalk/s/5a36618a...507859_s03.mp4Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
